Responsibilities

This role of Executive Director requires a dynamic leader who can collaborate with the Board of Directors to shape long-term goals, oversee daily operations, and drive financial sustainability. The Executive Director will engage with legislators, community leaders, and stakeholders to advocate for policies that align with their mission while fostering a culture of inclusivity and continuous improvement within the organization. With responsibility for financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, organizational leadership, strategic oversight, and human resource management, this position offers a meaningful opportunity to champion social impact, guide program excellence, and strengthen the organization’s ability to serve its community.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a bachelors degree or higher in human services, business, public administration, or a related field and at least 5 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit or human services management organization. A strong understanding of financial literacy, nonprofit governance, and resource development is essential. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and community engagement skills while maintaining professionalism in complex situations. A commitment to social justice and human dignity, coupled with the ability to lead a high-performing team, will be key to success in this role. Experience working with developmental disabilities or vulnerable populations is a plus!
