Responsibilities

In this role, your mission is simple: to raise money and inspire people to give. You’ll lead creative strategies to reach campaign goals, working closely with staff and volunteers to increase revenue sources through presentations, events, workplace campaigns, and donor engagement. You’ll confidently ask for contributions, cultivate relationships with major donors, and create proposals and personalized donor plans. From media interviews and public presentations to one-on-one meetings, you’ll represent our organization with professionalism and passion. You’ll also develop and execute strategies to increase donor engagement, retention and revenue. You will oversee campaign volunteers, apply for grants, and ensure donors feel valued through newsletters, thank-you cards, and other recognition efforts. Whether it’s organizing Hunger and Homelessness walks or workplace donor training, you’ll keep our mission visible and impactful year-round.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field, with 5 years of experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or public relations preferred. You should be a confident communicator, skilled in relationship building, and comfortable presenting to audiences large and small. Creativity, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset are essential. If you’re ready to lead initiatives that deepen community connections and drive meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you.
